Although the photos don't show it well, LIBERTY on the obverse is completely full, and the motto on the reverse is full. So, what I'm wondering is - what grade would you place on this coin, and what is it about the coin that prompted you to grade it as such? I've attached pics with a webcam and lamp, as well as a scan of each side. Sorry about the quality of the photos, but it's the best I can do with what I've got.

I will give this a try, but keep in mind, this is practice... ;o)

I say VF-20
I choose this because all the letters in LIBERTY are evenly plain

I'd say F15 because not all the letters in liberty are so sharp and there's a little to much wear to go VF IMO.

I would agree with F15. A couple of Liberty's letters are slightly weaker than others. Also, top of wreath is well outlined, lower part a little more worn. But, a strong F15!

I would agree liberty is readable but not sharp so, I would give it a Fine 15

Choice Fine. The bottom leaves need to be a bit sharper for the VF grade. Also better pictures might help a bit.

Better photos? How's this? Scanned at 600 dpi.
