While checking my 78cc dollar against pictures at Vamworld it showed a clash mark extending from the eagles right wing going into the motto ' in god we trust'. Looks like a mountian peak. My 78 Philly has this same clash mark extending from the upper two sets of leaves on the right side pointing to the eagles chest. Is this possible?

Post a link. That's what's great about the clast die tool. It will let you rotate the die and play what if.

It is very possible, in fact that's one of the best places to see if the dies were clashed on the reverse. On the obverse, I always look under her chin.

Check out this pic. If you look carefully you will see the bridge of Liberty's nose, her eye, the back of her cap and even E from her head band.

Once you recognize what you are seeing, you will be able to find all sort of neat transfers....how about the cotton bolls...

Can you tell I love clashes

I have found clashes from every mint. They are very common, but only the ones that transfer letters are considered worthy of a premium. That doesn't stop them from being soooo cool

I do not have this one in hand yet, but this is a 1878-P Morgan that I just purchased (sellers photo's) I cropped the photo's to show the clashing on this thing since everyone is showing some clash marks. When I get it in hand I will take better pictures of it
