stmpcol Valued Member United States 223 Posts	Posted 09/04/2006 5:32 pm While checking my 78cc dollar against pictures at Vamworld it showed a clash mark extending from the eagles right wing going into the motto ' in god we trust'. Looks like a mountian peak. My 78 Philly has this same clash mark extending from the upper two sets of leaves on the right side pointing to the eagles chest. Is this possible? Becky Pillar of the Community United States 954 Posts	Posted 09/04/2006 8:03 pm It is very possible, in fact that's one of the best places to see if the dies were clashed on the reverse. On the obverse, I always look under her chin. Check out this pic. If you look carefully you will see the bridge of Liberty's nose, her eye, the back of her cap and even E from her head band. This picture is copied from the big VAM book.... Once you recognize what you are seeing, you will be able to find all sort of neat transfers....how about the cotton bolls...
