I plan on going to an upcoming coin show in my area that is scheduled for three days. I will be going primarily looking for good deals on silver items. From people who have experience, would it matter if I went on the first day, or wait until the last?

Was wondering if you would get better deals on the last day with dealers trying to squeeze more sales before the show ends?

Dealers do tend to give discounts on the last day of multi-day shows but you also have to remember that some dealers will have already packed up and left and the selection will not always be as good on the last day.

Kind of a situation that happens at coin shows, gun shows, flea markets and even garage/yard sales. First people there get a chance to find something great, rare and fantastic deals. SOMETIMES. Again, many find that going at the last minute pays off since many dealers just don't want to take to much stuff home again. And that too is for all types of places where sellers have to set up and put away their items. Picture a coin show where a dealer has 3 tables full of coins. Many spend hours preparing for this show. They also spend hours putting away everything. Much better to sell as much as possible.
So being early gets you things not there later. Being late gets you possible deals so they don't have to lug stuff home again.
I've met so many people that do one or the other. Many have told me if the show is close enough, they do both.
And remember that dealers at all these places well know this.
