I started with a childhood collection of almost a thousand coins. After four active years of researching, buying, and selling, I now have just under 1000 coins.
I enjoy paring down and refining my collection almost as much as adding to it.

I selected 1,000 to 10,000 because I have about 5,000 Lincoln cents plus all of my Dansco albums etc...

2,647 that I consider to be my personal collection. Then I probably have another thousand or so extras

I selected 10 - 20,000 because I've been accumulating quite a few. I need to purge some soon. (I didn't count all the copper cents I've saved - that would put me over 30,000. I don't consider them as part of my collection. They're just in buckets.)

According to the database, there's 9,675 coins in the collection right now, so I voted in the 1-10 thousand range, even though it probably won't be there for too much longer. My database only has four slots to put the numbers in. I'm not looking forward to going through 9999 coins and adding a zero in front of each number.

Started from a single coin in elementary school. Now it's about 5,000. All - different types!

Around 3000, from ancients up to the 1970's.
Why the 1970's? That was when silver finally disappeared from circulation.

According to my inventory spreadsheet, I have 1571 coins. There are a handful of miscellaneous unsorted and uncatalogued extras, certainly no more than the 429 needed to reach 2000. So I will say well under 2000 total.

I voted over 30,000. Not really sure but there is way to many of all of them. With over 100 Whitman Albums full and many, many others, just to many. I would have to spend a lot of time just counting them to see how many there are.

I have no clue, but I'm sure I have over a thousand, not to mention a box full of tokens, wooden "nickels", etc. I started collecting around 1953 when I could still find plenty of Mercury dimes, Walkers, and even V-nickels in circulation (and spent all the dimes on comic books, which also are long gone). I don't think my grandparents knew what they were starting when they sent me my first Lincoln Cent Whitman folder, which I still have somewhere.

Last count was in the 23,000 different range. That figure does not include any bulk material.

My collection is relatively small. I only have 100-200 coins, but I like to keep it manageable and really am only working on 1 set right now.

Mine is massive and I have waited too long to begin really organizing and cataloging everything. That is my current project.
