Are there any online shops that are buying rolls of uncirculated State Quarters from 99 or 2000? I acquired $350 worth of P and D's and although I know shipping would be a little pricy and possibly not worth it, how much more over face could I get for the following:

South Carolina D (7 rolls)
Massachusetts P (5 rolls)
North Carolina D (3 rolls)
Virginia P (2 rolls)
Georgia D (2 rolls)
Connecticut D (2 rolls)
Maryland P (5 rolls)
New York D (2 rolls)
New Hampshire P (6 rolls)
New Hampshire D (1 roll)

I've seen a lot of places "selling" the BU St. Qtr. rolls for nice premiums......but "buying" them for a premium "from" the seller/customer, is another matter.
And, though I haven't asked....I know my local coin shop is "selling" them....but wouldn't be interested in "buying" them for much more than face at this point.

Only ones I see actually selling on ebay ( closed auctions ) are the 2009 territory quarters bring a decent prem above face due to low mint numbers

The 99-08 were so mass minted not really a demand for them.Literally 200-300 million of each were minted, while The territory 09 quartes some were very low 38-39 million

A few double dies exist to , minnesota doubled tree, wisconson doubled leaf on ear of corn ,those rolls might bring a prem for double die hunters but I think they are 04 and 06

I dont think any double die exist on the 99-00 coins that have been discoverd yet

I'm still finding State Quarters that appear to just have come into circulation. They look uncirculated. Yeah, there must be tons of them squirreled away still, so have little (if any) premium value.

I too have seen dealers at coin shows with numerous rolls of the State Quarters for sale. And if you sak if they want to buy any, you get the same answer as if you tried to sell them Bicentennial Quarters.

Well I just offloaded $350 worth of 99 and 2000 quarters at my bank as well as two rolls of 2001 dollars. There were a bunch of unrolled ones too. Of course when I was emptying the plastic tubes in a bag, my son dumped a 1/2 roll of 39S nickels in there too. I thought I got them out, but according to the coin counter machine, I must have missed a couple.

Best bet is to just put them back into circulation. As everyone else has said, the premium is not there anymore and more often than not dealers are trying to move them out, not bring more in.

One of my local coin shops is actually putting BU State Quarters in their cash register, and handing them out as change.

Since each State Quarter roll is guaranteed to be worth $10 (and can be cashed in for that amount at your bank), you're still way better off than the folks stuck with Beanie Babies and such.

If I had a quarter for every time I see an ad on craigslist for beanie babies I would be much richer than the people attempting to sell them. LOL

Just curious ..
Are they bank wrapped rolls .. or rolls from the mint.

And .. have to ask .. if bank wrapped ..are you sure they are you sure they are original complete rolls.

last year I had a few rolls .. that I had put away .. out of 150 rolls .. 3 or 4 of them turned to be mixed
rolls.

Darn .. had to go back and read that you dumped them.

I would have liked to have the GA D's and maybe the CT D's

Just to see if there were any nice ones. GA D's in MS 66 I think book in the $20 range and
MS 67 are $100+
