I found the off-center about 1 week ago. (I think its a 1991?) Got the collecting bug again. I have had the other two for many years. I received all 3 coins as change. Edited by Tunnioc 01/03/2011 01:24 am

Cool coins. I have found several clipped planchets in change, but never a blank planchet or off center strike. Great job and thanks for posting!

Great errors, very nice clipped planchet, surprised that one last long in circulation before you found it. It is a fun bug to catch, the search for errors. enjoy

Wow those are fantastic for circ finds. I am still looking for a nice broadstruck cent for my collection.

Why are off centers seldom found in circulation? Think for a minute, then scroll down... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Off centers tend to be oval. If they aren't caught in the riddler at the mint, they can jam a coin counter, and if they slide through the counter the long way, they still leave a bulge in the roll.

Glad to have you at the CCF! Great error finds. I never found a clipped cent - some nickels though. Also once got a blank nickel planchet out of a bank roll - years ago.
