You are bidding on 1 roll of Wisconsin D quarters.. These are unopened and wrapped by the Federal Reserve... They are in Orange and White Paper... Leaf errors? Unsearched rolls... you can bid on 1 or more right now. Shipping will be $4.10 for any amount of rolls that you win... Just saw several leaf error sell for over 300.00 each. Thanks for looking and good luck with your purchases.

ONE ROLL SHIPPING COST IS $4,10 PRIORITY MAIL;;;ADDITIONAL ROLLS WILL BE MAILED AT NO ADDITIONAL COST, ALSO BY PRIORITY MAIL

PLEASE VISIT MY STORE "THE COIN DOME" THANKS

OK. That was the write-up on ebay. Now I have to ask you all a question. I received this item today. I needed the Wisconsin D for my album, and thought a fun little search, and maybe get a little lucky. Orange and white wrapped, just as was stated. Imagine my surprise to find the coins didn't look like federal reserve rolled coins. Lots of bag marks on the coins, and even some big dings.
Now imagine my bigger surprise to find a circulated 1979 quarter smack in the middle of the roll.
The shipping was very fast, 3 days. The seller already left me feedback, so that is not being held over my head.
I thought I should ask more seasoned numismatists.
What would you do? What should I do?
Thanks,
QS

Chalk it up to experience - your total loss amounts to 2.5% of your purchase price, minus the quarter the wrong coin is worth. There's no way to prove deliberate action on the seller's part. Might as well let it be.

Me, I'd not do business with the seller again, but that's just my opinion.

I would email the seller and let him know what you found and the problem you have, he may just send you a complementary roll just to make you happy

QS, can you provide a link to the auction? We can get a better feel for whether or not you were conned or this was an accident if we know more about the seller, his feedback, and his other auctions.

As Bryan and Dave collectively said, this could be an accident in which instance you might receive some sort of compensation if the seller is honest... or it could be a deliberate fraud in which instance you just paid for a lesson.

I believe hes talking about this auction/seller 320011127103 according to 2 of the 4 negatives he has, they were complaints of the rolls being previously opened and the coins circulated.

If this is the guy, his reputation for rolls of coins is a little tarnished and the roll he sent Quickstudy is no accident.

I think because he states - "These are unopened and wrapped by the Federal Reserve" is truly fraudulent because they were obviously opened, and he should be reported to ebay
