Today I got this it is cheap by catalog but it is not everyday in the market.
Not released for circulation,all but 1,000 reported melted.

Nice pick up!
What was the reason behind the change of heart there, with not releasing and melting, do you know?
Another question, that monogram on Yugoslavian coins, am I right to assume it means "JNB" (with N and B Cyrillic), Jugoslavian Narodni Bank?

I think the main reason is the hyperinflation and currency of 1993 lasts for three months.
About the coin of 500 dinars I did not learned anything concrete, but was then a huge currency instability,so it is certainly the main reason for not putting into circulation and melting.

Ok. Limundo is good site, but I dont buy coins on it just stamps. I asked because I thought that you bought it in Croatia and wanted to compare price with those in Serbia.

I have see one auction in Croatia the price was about 11 euro.

Last year in Serbia at international coin show it was 5-6 euro retail.

In Serbia on Lemundo coins are cheaper but they don t want to send them out.
There were 3 seller but they are not active on Lemundo any more.
