That coin appears to be a large date.

Once you get a small date of your own, it will become obvious and you will always have a reference. I got a BU for $20.

I got a sweet deal here on the forum about a year ago. I checked and it was really $25, but even so, I was very happy.

The large date has a small crease across the 7 at the top. This one doesn't. However the 9 doesn't look right.
1970-S-Small-Date??

It might be hard to see the crease, I just found a 70 S and I thought it was a small date, even under magnification but I eventually saw the crease.

Sometimes the crease is muddled by damage.
The shape of the 9 is very clearly a large date--compare to the pic above.
