Yes, those are die cracks. They indicate you have an N-4, which is listed as common. If was one of the rare or very rare varieties, it would still be worth a pretty penny with that damage. But it's a common damaged one, so isn't worth much. But the reverse sure is nice ...
Yeah, XF Details/corroded I personally would pay less than VF money for this coin. It's really too bad. It's an attractive coin, just that obverse corrosion. I'm guessing the coin was sitting obverse down, in a very unstable, moist environment, unmoved, for quite a while.
