hi All
Pulled this from my pocket change today and I'm sure I'm way off but had to post to make sure? I know the pics are bad, but hoping some of you pro's could tell me if it warrants rushing out to get the stuff needed to verify for sure. I'm not real sure about the small date either, I'm having lighting issues so posted a darker pic of the date. I beleive the "9" loops in the right dierection, but can't be sure. The pics I found online are actually pretty hard to differentiate vs. seeing live. Also the "0" in 1970 looks a little doubled? Can't tell if anything else is, only have my point and shoot and a 2X magnifying glass to work with right now.

It is a large date...but does look like doubling on the 0....we need better pics to determine what that is

A closer shot of that area might help to tell what is coin on.

Yea, did not think I could be that lucky out of the gates, lol. thanks for the pics, yours makes it more clear than the ones I found. I did not know about the 7 & 0 either.

Also another tip made here by another poster: The tips of the 9 are chiseled. On a larger date they are blunt.

i tried to get a closer pic, can't do it right now. I have a loupe ordered and the Cherry Pickers Guide, hopefully that will make these things more clear to me, Still not sure how I'm going to get the pics. I am waiting for a new lens for my camera, so hopefully that will help with pics. Most of the examples I see of doubling are easily recognized to me, but some are hard to see even with the pics supplied on the sites. I think some of what I may be seeing is light issues due to the bad pics?

Good call Coop, If you check the sweet photos Coop posted both ends of the 9 are pointed, top loop and the bottom loop, means a small date coin,This PUP is a FACT!!I have NOT seen this PUP posted or listed any where else but my research shows this to be true, see for your self, in the above pictures.
If the top loop end is flat or blunt ended the coin is a large date.

Thanks again Coop.
