Don't buy anything off the television. Always look for a coin dealer in your town and get to know them. Should you hit it off, he or she will be a friend for life in your coin ventures!

They've hit the secondary market and will be very expensive until people realize the MSN is bilking them for all they can get. Wait a few years and they'll be reasonable. I, for one in protest, no longer could care less about them. Actually, I'm hoping that they'll be like the over sized Morgans and ASE that were offered at 1/2 Troy LB. Nice to look at, but who cares, the new offering is just a quarter.

I got an order confirmation from A-mark when they went on sale the other day. Sold out within an hour or two of listing going live. Website practically crashed from all the traffic and it took about an hour for the process to go through. It says they will be PCGS encapsulated. Hoping for a nice set.
America the Beautiful 5 oz Silver- Set of 5 Total $875.33 Shipping $99.00 Order Total $974.33

I agree with thecoinologist about not buying off of tv. If you do some comparative shopping you will see that they are higher, sometimes significantly, than other places. They have to pay for that TV time somehow!

honestly, I feel like the mint is capitalizing on the extreme price rise in silver. maybe wait till the price drops ?

According to the above figures, the "5-oz Quarters" are costing you, $175.07 each, then shipping $19.80 per coin total =$194.87 delivered, Not graded, authenticated..........Silver at let's say $30.00/oz 5 coins X 5 oz's =$750.00 in silver value @30.00/oz. $125.33 profit minus the shipping??I like the premise, just it does not go down well, being gouged by the mint's distribution system, and the obvious policy's of the day....I hope you enjoy them........IMO, This is just another way pcgs has been doing so well,3300 coins/vendor x the amount of vendors=$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ !!Good luck.

I agree that shipping seemed awfully steep. I suspect there is some "handling" in there somewhere. From what I read, the mint sent the coins in 10 coin tubes, so to be encapsulated adds some handling I guess...these will actually be my first encapsulated coins.
