That is absurd I figure it is only $700 worth of silver ($28/ounce * 5 ounces * 5 coins = $700).
These guys cover their grading costs by the ones that come back MS-70 but, to be generous, let's assume it cost them $10 per coin to get these graded in bulk that brings total value to $750.
I see no numismatic premium whatsoever for the MS-69 nearly every one minted is probably MS-68, most are MS-69, a few will make 70; these coins are pure bullion silver nothing more.

"OUR PRICE WILL MOST LIKELY BE CHANGING FREQUENTLY. IF YOU CAN'T RISK THE POSSIBILITY THAT WE MAY SELL THESE FOR LESS AT ANY TIME BASED ON SUPPLY AND MARKET CONDITIONS, DO NOT PURCHASE THE SET. "
Translation: "We are robbing you blind. We think you're a total idiot. If you don't want any of your friends to know you're a bigger idiot than they know you to be, don't buy this crap."

Market conditions? If/when market conditions actually influence a price that high, they will probably decline US currency as payment.

All hype wait a few years or when silver starts dropping then we should be able to pick them up at a fair price.

I wonder how much the Mint will charge if they release Numismatic versions? I would love for the mint to undercut these guys, it would be a spectacle.

The mint will definitely undercut that price. The uncirculated versions from the mint will be higher than the price they forced on the APs but not a lot higher. They will be sold and packaged individually, in their own boxes, much like either uncirculated or proof SAEs. I would expect the mint to add the 5oz silver coins to their gold and platinum charts that adjust the price weekly based on silver spot. That way they don't have to speculate about what silver will do over the course of the year or pull the coins and re-offer them at new prices like they used to do with gold. The only question with the mint offering of the uncirculated coins is whether or not you get one, not whether or not you will get gouged. On a side note, my subscription for the 2011 silver proof set was just ordered, five days ahead of release just like the clad set.

I dont mind, as long as no one judges me for capitalizing on a lucky score. I am a bit sad that these are getting such ridiculous prices because I really would like to keep them.
