I was roll searching 30 roll of Nickels today, and in the 30 rolls were 3 rolls of U.S. Jefferson's.

I found a 2009P Jefferson nickel, and I thought they were scarce.

Pretty good find for living in Canada.

That's a keeper! I've searched almost 200,000 US nickels since June 2010 and only found five or six 2009p. I have almost finished a roll of 2009d though. I also recently completed a roll of pre-1982 pure nickel Canadians.

That's a pretty good find in Canada. If you find any 2010's let us know because they are even harder to find. In fact my one and only 2010 non cent find so far is a BU Canadian 10 cent last August.

Tim.......I've not seen a shortage of 2010 anything around here in NE Kansas, esp. Nickels and Cents.
Though typically D mints, no matter what the denomination, I stopped at two coin tubes of 2010 Nickels, and now just throw them back, the mintage numbers are up there pretty good for these......not as high as 2008, but still up there pretty good.

'09 Nickels.....that's another matter..... P or D. ...

I think I have like 6 or 7 D mint '09's.....and one P mint '09 found in "the wild".
And I have been looking for them quite feverishly for some time now.......before the condition gets too crappy !

For a lot of us they are... I haven't found one yet... Nice find.

I too am seeing 2010's, P and D like there is no tomorrow. Not just nickels either.
