bought a $25 box today. 8 canadians and 8 wheats. one wheat was beautiful. not a tough date but a rarity to find in this condition with regular coins. what would you guys grade it. It was so beautiful when I found it. here are pictures next to some of the others I found in the same box. It is the brightness of the coin that turned me on. one more for the album :)

Murrellington: Most will say that grading is subjective - but I believe the grade for the 1958 is MS65RD ! [d] [d]. But I grade pretty tough... I think some would call it a MS66RD!

Beautiful wheatie! Last BU wheatie I pulled was a 54-S but it's not as radiant as that one.

thanks a lot :)
by the way I don't know how people use cameras for good pictures. I have an okay digital camera, but for all of these photos I use my phone's camera. haha. works for me.

Pretty good photos for a phone cam. What model phone are you taking these pics with? I have a HTC HD2 and I can't take any decent quality photos of coins with it.

Doesn't that make you wonder where those coins were for all this time. I too occationally see a cent from the 60's in similar condition in change and really wonder where have you been?

Okay, maybe someone out there busted a BU roll open at the bank or something, because I just found a BU 1958 on Saturday! It gleams like this one!

That 1958 is a nice coin, especially from circulation - but it would grade nowhere close to MS66. Best call from the images would be MS63RD with that big black spot on the reverse.
