I went to the one and only B&M coin shop in my area.
It's a nice place, owned and operated by a very nice lady.
I was looking for education and left with a Whitman Kennedy half book
in which to store my collection. Also picked up '66, '67, and '68S
Kennedy halves all for $18. Not a monumental deal but I was pleased
that she had them. She also helped out with some grading advice.
I have decided that the beginning to my coin collecting days will begin
with filling up the Whitman Book with Kennedy halves. Also, I am
going to pursue a set of Franklin halves. Once and if I ever get these
two sets complete, I plan to move onto the Eisenhower dollars.

just a tip on the JFKs you may want to look for a nice 1970 and 87 mint set
alot of the time it is cheaper than buying just the coin and all the rest you can find by roll searching except the proofs but I have even found a couple of them too
