Tremendous roll find! The pics make the coin look at least AU55. The wheat lines show a little rub but that's all as far as wear. Acetone might take the stain off and with the generous mint luster remaining, it looks like a $10 coin.

I agree, I don't think the pics, do the coin justice.

I can see red showing through on some places, I'll say AU-55 also.

This has to be one of those times that someone steals grandads coin collection to go and get some 18 year-old to buy them cigarettes.

I would go AU55. It hardly seems worth it to spend cents anymore, my entire dansco with proofs wouldn't buy one pack of smokes. It would be interesting to track how these coins make it back into circulation.
