Is any premium added to a coin if the mintmark is touching the date?

Some people on ebay go for that kind of thing, but it's just another day at the mint, meaning mint marks happen where they are hand punched. they only count (to me) if they are varieties.

No premium value or mintmark position. If it's anywhere under the date, in front of the vest, and within the rim it's in a normal position.
