the "E" in "ONE" looks elongated and the bottom of the letter looks skinny compared to other 1985 Lincoln cents, is that normal? If not, what would cause that?

I believe it's just grease filled...pretty common but waiting on a second opinion

I'm thinking it's die polishing or maybe just a weak strike.

I don't think it is an error or variety.

There does appear to be a weakness in the strike in those areas. But not enough to warant a premium. Note the gutter missing in those areas.

This is not caused by grease. It is a weakly hubbed die followed by die polishing that removed the edges of the letters from the field upward.
