Yay, my first slab ever! First thing I noticed about this coin when I picked it up was that the numbers have strong doubling. The picture I have in my CP guide doesn't show any doubling. So whats with that?

Otherwise I'm just showing off! Graded MS64 btw. :D

Looks like a normal 1959D-1MM-001 to me. I see a lot of glare on the tops of the date. But it appears to be just glare from what I can see.

By the way, this is slabbed as FS-022.5 RPM-1 and looks to match it... but doubled. One heck of a machine double I suppose, this thing has 6 D's.

Since any doubling worthwhile would be on the die when it struck the coin, and no pther 1959D RPM1 examples have any doubling, it has to be Machine Doubling.

Not to pop your balloon here, but I would rather have a die variety without Machine Doubling - nothing to get in the way of the true variety on the coin.

No bubble popping here. I figured it was Machine Doubling anyway, and I paid next to nothing for it.
