hi all
Coppercoins.com lists this as a RPM, wouldn't this be a split plating or something? I'm not exactly sure what split plating is yet, but I thought the silver look at the bottom was something other tha repunched mark? I see these all the time and toss them back.

The bottom right IS split plating. This just means the copper coating splits open when the coin is struck because the mintmark punch went into the die a little tilted.

The repunched mintmark in THIS case is pretty minor, but it shows up on the LEFT side of the vertical bar near the bottom of the mintmark.
