Cool notes,
is that a ten billion note on the bottom? Where is that from, Yugoslavia? What currency is/was that? Some serious inflation there!

I find it interesting that the US is so full of our government that that is all we portray on our money.....that love of government is becoming shameful.

Government is not reason. It is not eloquent. It is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant, and a fearful master.

As always, a nice and fun selection, vic!
The Turkish note features a Turkish mathematician Cahit Arf and the formula of the invariant of a nonsingular quadratic form named after him.
If anybody's interested here it is explained in simple terms.

Yes jimineez, Yugoslavia 10 billion Dinara. When I first got it I bought a round of drinks on the strength of it in my local pub (bar). Unfortunately the landlord (bar owner) didn't have enough change but it did bring a smile to everyone's face.

svslav "in simple terms"? Oh yeah now I get it...not! LOL.
I've always been fascinated by mathematics and have read several books on it's history. Still non the wiser but still fascinated.

On the 100 shilling from Tanzania there are a number of University Professors. They are being led by a Dr. Mongi who was a world expert on animal hides (I just happen to know this since I once worked with him)

I notice on your list that you do not mention a Thailand polymer 50 Baht note that has a telescope on it. Surely you have it.

Finally I have a Singapore 1 dollar note that has the Sentosa satekite earth station on it

Re: Thai 50 baht polymer note. Well spotted and how did I miss that? Yes I have all of the signature varieties for that issue.
I didn't list the scientists involved only the designs, instruments etc.
Satellites and telecommunications images I omitted as I will probably include them in list of commerce and industry.
