I received this oddity as a gift from my sister a few years ago
It is made up of about 80 coins from New Zealand, Great Britain and Australia
All Pennies and half Pennies and a few odd coins

The oldest are

1862 India Quarter Anna
1903 Great Britain Penny
1905 Great Britain Half Penny
1915 Canadian Cent
1920 Commonwealth Australia Half Penny
1940 New Zealand Penny
1941 Australia Penny
1944 New Zealand Half Penny

It's very solid, it could hold about 10 lbs

Not to be pessimistic but I really don't think that dirt and water will have a nice effect on those coins. If you do use it let us know what it looks like in a few years.

Ooh sorry but as pretty as it is it's making me cringe.

Unfortunately you can't put plants in it. The coins would be ruined and the plants would be poisoned.

Perhaps you could put a kitten in it and photograph it!

If you do that, we want more pictures!
