I would grade the 1880-P AU 50. \ I would grade the 1886-P as MS 64. It is a nice clean coin but based on the picture quality it is lack luster. I am trying hard not to factor that in the grade as I bet it looks very good in hand.

1889-P NGC MS 63. 1885-P looks MS 63.
So what are NGC's grades?

Quote: So what are NGC's grades? Doesn't look like NGC slabs to me . Looks like some other company slabs (maybe basement slabber cases)

All of these pictures (I am not citing blame) have little to no luster. I find that very problematic. I would hate to think some lower tier third party grader slabbed very over dipped coins.

If you factor out the apparent lack of luster, most of these coins would grade with a reputable third party grading company. I realize lighting plays a tremendous role here, so please take that aspect into account.
