Are all of the 1984 LA Olympic Silver Dollars 90% Silver?
Some places I have looked say they are and some places don't mention
any silver content. The reason I ask is because a local antique shop in my area has one for sale at $35.00 USD and I don't want to over pay. From what I can tell silver is at $28 per ounce right now. Thanks in advance for any advice.

90% silver for the 84 proof. I saw on some site that one was going for around $26. You might want to look further.

Be sure to remember that the 90% silver commemorative dollars have the same standards as the pre-1936 silver dollars. Modern commemorative half dollars follow a different path, only a few issued since 1982 have been silver(1982 Washington, 1993 Bill of Rights, and I think one other) with the rest CuNi clad.

Silver - yes, but only .77 troy oz, not 1 oz, so would be worth about $22 melt...I think $35 is high, but if you want it, it isn't crazy high

The counter has a sign that says "This dealer offers a 10% house discount, DO NOT CALL THE DEALER FOR FURTHER DISCOUNT!"
Guy seems like a swindler anyway. He has mercs that appear to have been run over by a train with a price tag of $19.00 USD on them.
I won't be buying from him but it is one of 2 places in my area that has coins for sale. I like to look anyway

There's a online coin auction I frequent. It's outstanding and it offers free shipping. I have received many, many proofs and UNC coins in perfect condition for a little over face value + plus the free shipping.

They have the coin I think you're talking about for 23.99 and no one usually bids on them. And it's silver.
I don't know if I'm allowed to post a link but..

When buying coins with the first thought is of silver value learn what the silver content is and the spot price and do the math. If you want the coin and are using the silver content as a hedge be guided by what you are willing to pay. Silver merchant or coin collector.
