Anyone know when these will be offered in the "collectible" version that supposed to be sold straight from the mint?

Thanks!

I believe, only the circulated quarters, mint rolls, and the annual proof and UNC versions. Last I read the 5 ounce's were being sold to only US Mint approved dealers for resale. The 5 ounce coins are already being sold on HSN for almost $5,000 a set.

I have to add that I have not checked the press releases nor seen anything changing mint policy in Coin World. For some reason, CW delivery in my area is running over a month behind other parts of the country.

Check out E-Bay they Start around $1600.00 & Up, Yes As High as $5000.00 For The Set. They Are a little Less Now, From The Beginning. Or Do a Search on Google
I Am Like You Would Like a Set But Don't Have the Extra In My Budget at This Time, Will Keep Looking

They are still listed as TBD (to be determined) on the Mint Product Schedule for 2010 and 2011 issues.

With the exception of RPT, the above posters are referring to the bullion versions of these coins with a mintage of 33,000 per coin. The mint will be releasing a collector's version directly from the mint website with a mintage of 27,000 per coin. The collector's version will feature a mint mark as well as a different finish, although the mint has announced it will not be a proof finish.

As of now, the mint release dates has yet to be determined.

Thinks ayejay, that's what I'm referring to. I wonder if they will just be on a first come first serve basis.

I would suspect it to be a burnished/satin finish like what was used on the collector version of the American Eagle bullion coins.
