Hi ! I find some coin that it look strange to my eyes, I just want to know your opinion. The first, Check the ring, it look like offset. On the second is the same coin, some parts look like "doubled" On picture 3-4-5-6 and 7 some parts look like to be "doubled" too and #8 It ist a part, it's like if someone use a toll to remove them... I just want to be sure... And on #9 some part like to be doubled again. Please if you answer something tell me the # of the picture to see about what you talk... if someone want to have the picture, you can download it direct on the site or e-mail me I will send it. I will wait for your answer :) Thanks !

As far as doubling. It looks like its just the lighting. Your images 2 and 3 of the reverse show the doubling on both sides of the coin. This is just a lighting effect! However you do have an offset of the punch!

agree. it's easy to fool yourself into thinking that something very subtle is there.

I am no pro but here is what I see. First pic is a minor MAD(misaligned die) 1972 Lincoln cents have master hub doubling so they are doubled dies but they are all that way so no added value. John1

Very minor die misalignment is very common in the 1970s. That's what you have. None of the coins above are doubled dies. Any doubling you are seeing is either Machine Doubling that happened during the strike or an effect of the lighting you are using to view the coins. They are all normal coins.

All of the doubling that I saw looked to be from the lighting.

Hi !
Please stop to talk about lighting. For that the light had a effect it need metal under and like you can see when metal is flat that had no effect.
It's very possible that it's not enough to call them variety , error ... doubling etc.... but on each coin it have something.
Thanks !

I'm a little confused. From what you posted it sounded like your saying this is only one coin with many different photos of the same one. Or are you posting many diffeeent coins in those photos. If all are the same coin, note that in #8 there appears to be nothing doubled at all. That double/triple line on the rim too is something I used to think of as a valuable mint error but as I found many, many of them, I realized it was really common back in the 70's. Still at a coin show such minor errors are now selling for a decent amount but would have to be in much better condition.
