Oh...looks to be a bit of verdigris around LIBERTY, nothing to worry about.

I agree with AU55. Slight wear in the hair detail, cheek, and jaw. Too much for AU58. Reverse strong and commensurate with AU55.

One thing I dislike about this coin is the VDB - especially the bottom of it -- appears pretty weak to me. Is this just a weakly struck coin? Or is this pretty typical of the 1909 VDBs? That, combined with the verdigris has me wanting to upgrade this coin in my 7070.

Also - the splotchiness on the right obverse field.. Is that just toning that has started on it? Or anything to be concerned about?
