Found this today on my way home from work.

First one I've found in New Mexico.

I've found a few D's here in NE Kansas......but the P's are the rarer of the two BY FAR !
VERY hard to come by those "in the wild".
Usually P's take a long time to show up here anyway.....so it's literally like the proverbial "needle in a haystack" to find one !

I've noticed around here you usually can find P's more in the summer, I'm thinkin it's because the tourists are bringing them this way.

Nice find. I have searched almost 150 dollars worth of nickels in my area and have yet to find a War Nickel or a 2009 nickel. I am starting wonder if there is another collector beating me to the rolls

I have over a roll of the '09 P's. And yes, they're baggy for some reason. The D's on the otherhand, are looking superior.

Are you guys all in the same region? I'm in MI and have pulled too many of those just going through rolls. P, D, and came up with 1 2009-S Proof out of a Roll. Was pretty excited about that one ;)

And x2 of what Yotie said, I'm not a big fan of the latest designs in the Nickels either really, except I do like the buffalo reverse they used on the westward journey issues.

So does that mean you guys are also having problems finding 2010's as well?

I came across tons of both P and Ds. I found a bunch of them Struck Through Grease where the lettering is very weak like a ghost.
