I had a semi-stressful day today at school, so I bought a box of cents and some chips and adult beverages to have some relaxing time by myself.

Instead of getting the normal sealed box, the bank gave a box that you mail things in with 50 customer-wrapped rolls in it. The box has a shipping address on it, and it also has "$56.00" written on it. I'm guessing someone had $56 in change and they put it all in the box to bring it to the bank.

Anyway, I thought the worst-case scenario would be if all the cents were zincolns...

I've unwrapped two rolls so far and I have 87% COPPER!!

That's cool...at least if your saving copper. But my best bag(two double dies) had hardly any copper..so don't give up when you see zincolns.

Good luck. Hopefully the rest of the rolls continue to be good ones.

Some of the best rolls I have ever had were customer wrapped rolls.

10 rolls down...I've only come across 2 wheaties, but I still have the same percentage of coppers.

I'm pretty sure this group of cents is from someone's piggy bank. My dream is finding a '55 doubled-die and a 1909-S VDB in the same roll. Wouldn't that be a treat?!

(So much for planning on spending the evening doing my chemistry homework.)

Learn your die varieties and you could find a lot more in your boxes. My personal opinion is that pulling copper out of rolls is a waste of time.
