Does he know how serious of a collector you are? Or did he think he was just giving away stuff to some kid?

You should send that list to him.

Yeah, free is free. Too bad about the polishing. You know, I was just watching Pawn Stars, what they offer people is ridiculous but that's another story, and this guy brings in some WWI trench knives that someone lacquered. Destroyed their value. That's my whole point. Well Adam, at least you got some AR!

Never complain about FREE. Something is always better than nothing.
Actually if you were smart you would have acted as if you just received Gold or something of great value. Such a reaction could possibly have inspired him to continue giving you coins.

I agree that's a great score. I would just like to see the look on his face with Adam's grades.

My brother-in-law asked me if I wanted a framed bunch of coins, with some history and what-not on it.
It had fallen off the wall and landed behind a dresser, a decent type set actually, included a Morgan,a peace,SLQ's,IHC's,buffalos, mercs etc.
I cleaned it up and more securely attached it to the wall after telling him the melt value. I didn't want them cause they were HIGHLY polished
and pretty much depressing. Next time back he had moved it to a more prestigious spot in the house and everybody's happy.
