I suspected this was the case, that you were messin' with our collective heads, that's why I didn't bother to post those contemporary counterfeits of mine on this thread. (I may post them on another thread) The clincher was that you posted that Chinese-CC Trade dollar on another thread, saying it's been in your family for 70 years. That's a fairly modern counterfeit. I also think that 1862-S half is counterfeit! Grandpa obviously got hooked. On the plus side, we do have some studious numismatists on this site.
