It's definitely a 12 whose tail has been stepped on, but C. D. Daughtrey has the best solution -- turn it in to someone else's problem.

Quote: Dunno, but I could send you one of each so you could toss that in the penny cup at the store and make someone else guess... I got it covered coppercoins. You get full credit for the idea though. Thanks for that btw. He bought a few coins from me last week and I'm mailing them out on Monday or Tuesday. I've already included one of each in the package. Nice job scotty11, I offered to do the same. I tried to send him an email but I got no answer. His enthusiasm is contagious!

It is not anymore. It is very easy for the staff to accidentally check that box when editing or moving a topic. For the record, it was not me.

I'm going to agree with 1912 (badly abused!)

Funny how much time we INFECTED collectors can spend on something so totally worthless. I know, I've done it too. At best the coin is a common wheat at that grade - a cull worth about 3 cents.
But hey...I've spent HOURS on coins that had a maximum value of $1 no matter which way I looked at it.

51% to 49% leaning on a 1912.....the longer I look at the pics, the less sure I am.
