Don`t know if you guys can tell me much about it and I will be posting pictures, but in my change from buying a coffee I got a 1871 Indian Head penny. I read online its suppose to be a good date and I had never heard of anyone getting one in there change lately.it is worn from being used for soo many years but still in decent shape. I will post a picture and if anyone could tell me its value it would be appreciated thank you.

What?!

That's probably a $70-75 coin in G4!

hi guys I have finally added the pics of it. this is exactly how it came from Timmie's. was definitely worth getting a coffee for it. Just shows you there is still good stuff to find out there and to keep checking your change. I was super excited when I got it and although sadly I haven't won a single roll up the rim out of 7 coffees I think this made up for it.lol

Wow. You give me HOPE! Welcome to CCF from another Canuck!

I found a 1934 Canadian penny a couple of weeks ago, my very first EVER! pre 1940's find in customer rolled pennies from my Royal bank :) It's corroded but a great find that has me stoked anyways.

Congrats on your Indian Head. What a good one too!

Yes, I'm loving meeting up with so many Canadians in here too!

Sadly my 1934 is rough shape but the point is is that its a CLEAR 1934 and pretty amazing to find this oldtimer in a roll of circulating coins from my bank. A customer wrapped roll ;) I think 1940 or maybe 1941 was my oldest find until this 1934. I haven't been roll searching that long and only search from about $10 maybe up to $20 of rolls per month I think.
