AHHHH! Looks radioactive. Now that is what I call some verdigris there! Is that really toning or just a very awful picture?

Very nice,I think.Irishraider had the term vertigris,does this make it more valuable (or much more) and did the seller know?

The seller said he didn't know why it was green and it really was not as green as the pictures.Maybe it was minted on St Patrick's Day 1894.

That's pretty wild, but how did it get like that? Does silver green out like that? Even corrected for color, it still seems pretty Irish.

I've heard of some Morgans looking sick, but this is the first time I've ever seen one green from envy (and some thrown in for flavor . PVC damage? I usually associate verdigris with copper or brass corrosion.

That is the most consistently toned coin I have seen! I kind of like it, but I wonder if any of it would rub off on your hands? I can't imagine that was natural, though. Maybe submerged in something for a long time?
