I choose "no" not because I don't think there will be a coin in this series deserving of MS-70, but because I feel that many of these will not be slabbed and due to the low mintages already, the chance of a MS-70 coin being slabbed and thus us seeing that is lower IMO.

I chose no because of the size. There is a lot of room on there for something to go wrong and ding it down to 69 or below.

with jbuck... plus, the next series is going to be 2 1/2 inches in diameter plus thicker. There is no way(IMHO) that the mint will get get perfection... They have a hard time with the coinage as is, let alone with something of a 5 ounce magnitude...

I would like to know the punishment they put the dies through... I imagine the dies get demolished in the process...

Considering many of the 69's I've seen I wouldn't grade 63, no.

Depends on the grading company, but it will be tough to see a PCGS, NGC, and ANACS. I'm sure some basement slabbers will be issuing MS-71s.

LOL, I know the people who were auctioning the spurious MS-70. Scotsman does all of the coin auctions in the St. Louis area, they are a solid outfit and it does not suprise me that they ended the auction for an NGC review.

I voted no, because we may see some graded/labeled at MS-70, but I doubt they will actually be MS-70.
