From the image it appears to be a struck through error (grease). What does the reverse look like. I'm still wondering why you think it is a doubled die?

Some people are going to say Struck Through Grease, but I think you [could] have an irregular planchet. Do you have a way to weigh it? A cheap digital scale can tell you a lot, it should weigh 2.52 grams as a normal weight.

to CCF! If you're referring to the area in front of his face, I'd say it looks more like machine or ejection doubling. Nice Greaser, though! What's going on in the area above the 1 in the date?

It could well be grease, the reverse image will tell us a lot.

Hi, Obverse...struck through grease...(lubricant) Reverse...I see extra columns ... From the image I would say a doubled die. So it would be a DDR. Thanks, Bill

The two pictures at the bottom of page. I believe this to be a new find. Does anyone agree? Extra columns for a 1993?
