Looks nice. There's almost $11 worth of silver in it. A '71-S proof in it's original packaging is worth $15 to me.

I agree that $15 is a good price between friends. An online coin dealer lists that coin/holder combination at $13.95 plus $5 shipping.

11 worth in silver plus the collectors value as a coin = I start to feel releaf besides is my 1st proof Ike , before I only found business strikes and business strikes made by proof dies ! Thanks for cheer me up !

Nickelsearcher I'm sorry my English is hard to make sense because I think in Portuguese , I was trying to ask if I overpaid or if was worth the 15 dollars I paid for it ! I don't sale coins and rarely buy but love to trade ! The thing about this purchase I was trying to have a S Ike because I had a business S Ike dollar that I lost last year so today I just drove to my friend after his phon call telling about this coin . |

I think you got a good deal. The silver content value is near what you paid for the coin. Now you'll have to post it in the "Post an Ike" thread! Thanks for sharing the photos.
