So, I was looking around about something else tonight, and I noticed this...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...t_1978wt_954

On a whim, I did a search, and turned this up...

http://www.aliexpress.com/product-f...esalers.html

Now, I'd really like to think the seller got burned by someone else, but there's one glaring problem. The ebay seller stole his photograph from the counterfeiter's listing.

I haven't reported this one yet, so you all could see it before it goes bye bye. If someone else wants to, go for it.

But, $1764 profit on a $21 counterfeit really does bring out the worst in people, doesn't it?

I would love to see a massive law suit on behalf of PCGS...I know it's just a fantasy and could never happen, oh well. Yeah, pretty sad.

I'd bet the guy has real coins, he's just stealing images because he's lazy.

I just sent him an email playing dumb and asked him if the image is of the actual coin. Let's see what he says before reporting. Huge difference between selling known counterfeits and swiping images.

thats because its the same cert number so it has to be the same coin

♦ This is a graded PERFECT 2008 CHINESE PANDA certified by PCGS as MS70 (Certification # 12733187) .

That is from ebay description and it matches both pictures

I think instead of the ebay seller using the others sites pictures the other site used the ebay sellers pictures. This guy used to put those letters on all of his images and has great feedback and I have bought from him before so I really think this is the other way around. if you read the description in the About Us section you will see the letters on the image is his companies name

GSP R.C. specializes in certified US rare coins. We feature one of the most extensive selection of rare US coins, certified by PCGS, NGC, ANACS, ICG and other grading companies. Although there are some differences among the different grading services (remember grading is subjective, and we let our customers decide which grading service they are most comfortable with), we feel that the certification process by a grading service takes some of the guess work out of buying coins.
