Quote: does it start March 14th or March 24th ? Title and post are a bit confusing.. Oooops! I can see the confusion!! For that typo in the title, I apologize to everyone. I've asked the Mods to change the Title of this Thread to reflect the actual start date of this extravaganza to read " 14 Days of Standing Liberty quarters starts the 24th of March!" It should be changed soon. Quote: WHAT is this about?!? If you've seen any of the other "Days of..." threads in the Classic US coins section of CCF (Capped Bust Halfs & Seated Liberty coins in the Archive section, and Old Copper in the current) then you know about these threads. BUT, I should have been more explanatory for those who don't know my mania. This thread is asking all CCF members who have Standing Liberty quarters of any year, mint mark, or type, to take pictures of them and post those pictures on the date their coin's year comes up. I.E., starting on the start date of the 24th of Match, CCF'ers should post their 1916 SLQ pictures (the first year of SLQ minting), on the 25th (the second day of picture posting), their 1917 SLQs (the second year of SLQ minting), the 26th, their 1918 SLQs and on and on for 14 days, again, to line up with the 14 years of SLQ mintage. (I had to wait to explain this when I got home from South Africa today and didn't have to try to cut and paste and compose on my mini laptop!) So there you go. I hope you all can participate! It will be glorious! Sample: 1920 D Standing Liberty quarter (This would be/will be posted on the 20th of March).

I'm diggin the 20-d Moe! Funny, I have a colorfully toned 20-P and 20-s; but my 20-d is boring. You should send me yours so they can all match! :-D
Anyways, I will be armed and ready come the 25th!

Quote:"We all want to see every one of your Standing Liberty quarters! " I'm just gonna wait till the last day, then post a pic of my mini-pile of well worn two-bit tokens that some might feel belong more properly in the silver-melt bin.

Quote: I only have one, so my involvement in this thread will be brief. Well, I have the two mentioned earlier. Same number posted in the Old Copper and Morgan dollar threads. However, like those, one more than posted in the Bust-Halftober thread.

I like these thread ideas. It gets members involved. Hopefully someone will start an Indianhead cent thread.I'm working on my Indianhead collection and have a huge interest in these coins. Sorry for being off topic here.
