Don't know what this is. On the obverse at 8k to 10k the rim fades off and on the edge there is an indent but only in that area, not all the way around.All input welcome.Thanks,John1

Intereting, the rim is odd. Made me pull out a couple mislaligned dies to see if they had that. They did not. I have no idea but anticipate what th experts think!

May have just flattened more with the edge of the die pressing in that area. It doesn't look like a partial collar. If it was you would see where the mark started and stopped. This just looks like over pressure strike that wasn't centered.
