I have 1 1996, 2 1991 and 1 1986. Should I unload all of them or are any of these worth keeping?

Very broad question that is very hard to answer. Why do you want to unload? Do you want to use the proceeds to get more silver? Need cash? What are the conditions of the coins? MS69+?

I think the older ASE's do have more numis value (above 2x spot at least), but whether their "worth keeping" is really up to you.

I really am not into collecting just bullion coins at the moment, I bought these years ago before I started collecting. I have some purchases I need to make and could use the money. I just wasn't sure if any of the were worth hanging on to especially if they are only worth spot or 80% spot at dealers.

Dealer I sold my Englehardts to offered spot minus $2. I won't be going back there.

here is a big question: If you sell them, what are you going to do with the money? Put it towards more silver or waste it?

If you're looking at getting into pure bullion, as in just for maximum oz, I would go to some coin stores and see if they are willing to trade.

quick search on ebay shows the 91 goes for about 60 each, so I would see if I could get around that. Of course, with the way silver prices are lately, some places might just want to buy them for spot.

best of luck!

ASE's are not like Englehardts, its very easy to get at least spot for ASE's because they sell at such a high premium over spot.

I think maybe dump the 1996 as that is a key date. If and when silver hits 50+ an oz, do you think certain key dates will be worth more? Perhaps not, might become bullion price. Sell it now and get more silver with it. Or just keep it, silver is almost near 38 now.
Rest in Peace

Ehards are reputable, but not coins, and they quit making them. I don't think 5% back is unreasonable. APMEX pays $1 over, but I think you need $25,000 worth.
