Found this 99P while roll searching this weekend and it really looked strange. Nearly every letter appears to be doubled (obv and rev) and several, including the mint mark look like it is sitting on top of a glob of metal, almost like the die did not go all the way down to the planchet and metal drained out of the die. Is this doubling or what? Thanks!

I'm thinking Die Deterioration, which is quite common on nickels. But its not a doubled die, sorry

It does look like Die Deterioration, and a very good example of it. I would keep it just to have a good example of this effect.
