What Is This Commemorative Coin? | Lincoln Mint Medal

hogfan98 New Member United States 4 Posts	Posted 03/24/2011 10:15 am I am new to Coin Community, I read a lot of your forums, so I decided to embark on the adventure. I was in banking for over 20 yrs, and I have always love collecting coins and currency. My husband and I now are advid collectors. I would like to ask anyone if they know what this commemorative coin is, and if there is any value to it. It reads American Bicentennial Society Special Gold commemorative. I have searched everywhere and cannot find what this is. I purchased it with other coins, do not have it yet, but the owner stated it was 24Kt gold. Can anyone help? Although I do not know what it is, I am pretty sure it is not an official US Mint issued commemorative coin. You may need to post a picture, but hopefully someone will be able to identify it for you.
