I would love to do some roll searching for these, because odds are you will find one out of 3-4 boxes. can we get some Non-Searched Canada cent boxes here in US? Shipping cost for manty boxes would be costly to be sent from Canada.

The shipping cost of rolls of pennies from Canada would likely be expensive... a less costly alternative might be to have Canadian pennies shipped from the U.S. as the USPS flat rate priority mail boxes are really a good deal. I've been able to buy unsearched bulk Canadian pennies from U.S. ebay sellers for LESS than face! And I know they are unsearched from the error varieties I've found. I lot of Canadian coins are thrown away by US banks as they don't what to do with them, and I've heard coin sorting counters kick out Canadian coins... one man's junk is our treasures! Les

Les, Correct...one man's junk is our coin treasures! I use to find Canadian coins left in the Coin* counters all the time at stores, many dimes & quarters, but lately kicking out of Canadian coins are not there; maybe Coin* machines were re-programmed to keep Canadian coins now, since they are now worth more than US$. I know Coin* machines keep all my Canadian pennies that's how I get my $ back for them after searching.

I have found a few of these so far. I have an extra one right now it was looked at by a friend of mine who owns the local coin shop here in town and in his opinion it is an MS62 at least and could grade higher (I put the MS65 in my book lol) if you are still looking Bill hit me up and maybe something can be worked out.

Info needed from Members in SW Ontario, Canada area...Please? Are the banks in Ontario, Canada open on Monday Sept 5th & how about Saturday hours? Sept 5th is Labor Day holiday here is USA, so US banks are closed. Since we have the day off work in US, I'm thinking of driving up to Ontario, Canada to get like 4 boxes of Canadian pennies to search for the sporadic 2006 Magnetic - No Logo/No P cent. From numbers provided of the other penny roll hunters here, it seems like odds are good that one of these can be found out of 4 boxes....10,000 pennies! So what is the best bank to go to get some Un-Searched Canada cent boxes? Also, is there any Canadian or US law/rule that states I cannot bring back 10,000 Canadian pennies into US?

Penny4Me that day is Labour Day in Canada so most banks are closed. TD Canada Trust are sometimes open on Sundays, Saturdays it varies from branch to branch. Your best bet for a bank with long hours is TD Canada Trust. There is no law that I am aware of that you have to declare any cash in unless it exceeds 10k

No we eat visiting roll searchers. You would have a hard time with some banks for that amount It's only $100.00 but some banks may not have that on hand without knowing ahead. I would have the story for customs well thought out if the subject comes up.Those guys can be strange, and a 200 rolls would look like a lot and then the fun will start. Your not doing anything wrong, just tell them you collect pennies, and your treasure hunting. They will pass you off as harmless. I cross the border often and trust me, 200 rolls and they will think your money laundering.Math isn't a strong point with them point out its $100 dollars.Good luck find some keepers.

Penny4Me: If you watch "a popular auction" site you will occassionally see this variety for sale. You are looking at between 40-100 dollars for one of these in circulated condition. I have seen several recently, so keep your eyes open.
