Is this one of those brass plated cents? I don't know a whole lot about them. I know there were some from 1985. Thanks

It looks like one to me but it's real hard to know whether it's from the mint or toning or a chemical dip after it left the mint.There are known dates for these '83,'85-D,'97-P.'97-D,'98,2000 pretty much any zincoln could be one.

Agree with John1...I've found pretty much every one he mentioned...quite a few 83's. The only place I've seen them was on Ken Potter's website but there wasn't much info except that the mint had verified their existance.
