Well another show, today but money is tight . First topic: bought a '04 silver set.Second topic: (Unscrupulus dealers) Talking with dealer and tells story about some dirty looking guy who came in,months ago, with a bag of dirty Morgans, like 20.No one wants anything to do with the guy. This dealer was his last stop. He ends up giving $200.He washes them off and finds a'79 CC and a '89 CC.Says he sold em for $3000.Then I'm looking at some other guys table. The old guy says he only buys off some company in VT.They tell him the grades, and he prices them.Says he knows nothing about coins. Was soon giving me huge discounts.I tried to "help" him with some grading.Case in point...Waiker which was about a fine, and priced at $60.It was graded in a 2x2 at M.S.62. Now for the good part; he shows me a '90's nickle, with 2 obverses In an airtite and priced at $400. When I go back to dealer 1,who tells me that he told the guy that it was a fake. But it's still for sale I don't know who's honest if anyone, and I strongly disapprove. Thanks for reading and I hope you found this amusing.I am going to sand down my new Proof Set and try to get some big bucks,if I can portray it as a very rare Satin finish.

You can buy those two headed Jefferson nickels at CrakerBarrel restaurants for $2.00!!! They have been laser cut and replaced. Almost takes a magnifying glass to see the fine line around the edge! The dealer out to get out of the business if he has no morals or ethics and I probably would have been SCREAMING that so everyone in the building (at the show) would have heard it!!!

Glad you liked it,Dewayne.Wish I got his name, but he "says" he will be back next month.I could make a scene, but it's the only show around. The guy is like 80 and brought his wife.

Hey sandpaper, we have an old guy on this forum too, Old Dan, who is 80 also, and if you follow his observations, you should know that this "old guy" probably has 30 years of more experience than you. Glad you did not get suckered in by your old guy, but will bet others have, since he was an "old guy and had his wife there."

The Crackerbarrel nickle guy was back, today.Much less coins and only his overgraded 2x2's. It was really slow and I was caught, by him, snapping his picture. It came out blurry but I will post if anyone wants to see him looking at me.
