This caught my eye this week, to me, the price was right.

I am not really good at putting a grade/condition or value
on paper notes ... any input would be great

I think it is fine to very fine. The note is soiled and has a bad crease on the reverse.A couple of the corners are rounded and one edge is rough.IMHO

That is a really cool bill! I am now interested in collecting currency... Don't tell my wife... she thinks I have way to many coins as it is!

I thought it was cool too .. when it was offered to me for $15.00
I took it with out checking out what a good price was ..
just because I liked it

I was buying a lot of coins so they were giving me some good deals.

I do alot of that too. Buying because I like the look of something or I need it to fill a hole or because they don't make any of them any longer.

My wife is pretty understanding as she makes greeting cards, have you ever checked out the price of the toys you need to do that?

I'm sorry I forgot to add, I like that note, I'd have bought it in a heartbeat.

I too collect older sweet looking notes like this, IMO, They do not compare to today's notes, the newer notes lack any imagination in the details of yesteryear's bills like this one.I like it....
I too would of snatched it up also.......

$15 is a great deal. Currency is addicting and can be more costly than coins.

Agree with all - I've collected coins for many years, mostly those that I consider 'works of art', such as the Standing Liberty quarter. I've since discovered the reverse of many bills are really impressive. Unfortunately, my limited exposure so far makes it look like the higher the denomination, the more desirable!
