My latest acquisition. Just wanna show this nice coin.. Couldn't resist to buy this one.. Especially because the area where I live is "West Friesland", the coin was struck close to the village where I live and where born.. this 10 stuiver (X st.) fits nice by my (small) VOC doits collection..

Beautifull coin indeed, and well preserved :)
I although have doubts about its authenticity, considering the color of the coin, the design which is not that sharp, the marks on the surface (as if a sponge had been applied, plus the mark between MO and on the shield) plus possible bubbles.
Here is a genuine one from the same date sold on Heritage - with huge pictures if you want to compare :

That coin have indeed same denomination and date but the big difference is that one from "Gelderland". You can't compare..
