the first pic is a 2001 jefferson, I darkened it in hopes you guys can see what I am talking about. Sort of looks like the head on the other side was punched through a bit, the curve would be right about where the curve in the neck is. The next 6 pics are of a 1961 jefferson, did not know of this would be PMD or what,

agreed. I don't think the first is a genuine clip, either.

Its not a clip, sorry, but thats my finger. I was wondering about the shadow looking mark to the right of the pic. It falls in line (not sure if exactly) with the face on the front. Just wondering of this is a fluke or someway the front/face could have been overstruck and created a shadow on the back. If so would it be anyt type of error or just dammage?

That is a form of die wear. The mere pressure of striking a lot of coins can tend to transfer the designs to one another through pressure. It's VERY common, you just happened to notice it on this coin.

It's definitely not a die clash. Those are sharper and have more definition to them. They also don't affect the depth of the field like the die wear does.
